When I am in the diary and try and make an entry in the diary or change to a date, why does Live stop responding?
When making an appointment in the diary it allows me to make it but then I can't find the entry ?
NOTE: This is particularly common when companies upgrade a machine to Windows 10. Part of the default install asks for the Regional settings to be checked. By default, the machine will install with United States as the default and this will cause errors as the date format for Live needs to be United Kingdom with specific time formats.
To check your regional settings do one of the following:
Right click on the Windows Start button on the task bar and choose Run. Type in control intl.cpl and click OK to open the Regional settings box. See below for the correct settings for Live
Or, go to Control Panel (right click on Windows Start and choose Control Panel) and choose Region. See below for the correct settings for Live


Use the drop down menus to choose the correct settings and click OK. Once applied the problem should no longer occur
