Question:
How Will I Know If I Am Sending Information To A Contact Correctly?

Solution:
When sending out ad-hoc communications, for example email, sms or ad-hoc letters, the purpose of this communication could be varied and isn’t easy to attribute if consent is relevant.

When selecting these options the user will just be shown the consent status, and will be able to decide whether to send the communication or not.

Go to Person> Event>Letter>

Select the letter and then click Edit blobid1.png

Add in the content of the letter. Then click File>Email.

The information under the Quickmessage is showing which preferences are set.

If the reason for the letter is to send out general marketing information you may wish to cancel this action when one or more of the recipients does not have consent to General Marketing.

If the reason for the letter is to send out Property Marketing information you may wish to cancel this action when one or more of the recipients does not have consent to Property Matching.

You will be able to continue with the email if you wish and will not be prevented from proceeding.
